Sustainable & Local
Our commitment to immediate and long-term sustainability lie at the core of our efforts, year round. We are pleased to offer our incredible bee-paper food wraps in a transparent, wood fiber packaging that is fully compostable and truly zero waste! Our entire soap line uses sustainably harvested palm oil, (please visit the RSPO website to find out more on this critical work). The lovely goat's milk we use in our soap is sourced right here, just one county up from Seattle. Our soap packaging had to be made locally in the Pacific Northwest but also be recyclable, so we made it happen. Unlike other soap operations, we choose to take the extra step of offering full product packaging for our raw bars, simply as a sanitary solution; when you buy from us, nobody else has touched your bar before you. Our commercial production facility lies just minutes from downtown Seattle and allows us the room to develop new products and maintain current lines in a clean, proprietary space. While we are closed to the general public, we do open our doors for wholesale fullfillment. We are GS1 certified and we work daily to research and offer the best solutions for online order shipping, we are pleased to note a 98% elimination of all plastic cushioning in every order we ship, since 2017! In 2019 we will achieve 100% compliance with our own goal of zero plastic cushioning.
Our fundamental work with our large network of honeybees is the heart of house and the foundation of all we do, using a myriad of best practices both old and new to ensure good genetics and overall strong health. Using our products guarantees old fashioned, handmade quality coupled with modern, elite levels of sustainability at fair and accessible prices.
